For decades, we have proudly rescued and rehomed numerous Gordon Setters and we remain devoted to carrying this legacy forward. By partnering with other rescue groups and building strong networks, we strive to give every dog the second chance they deserve.

The Pacific Northwest Gordon Setter Club Rescue Committee is dedicated to protecting and preserving the Gordon Setter breed by rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs in need. Our mission is to ensure that every Gordon Setter has the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life in a safe and loving forever home.

Through the passion of our members and the commitment of our volunteers, we provide:

• Safe transport and temporary foster care

• Comprehensive veterinary care, grooming, and wellness checks

• Training, support, and placement tailored to each dog’s unique needs

• Behavioral and social assessments

We work closely with individuals and families to guide them through the adoption process, helping ensure the best possible match between each dog and their new home.

The dogs are bathed, groomed and provided with a vet health check. Their social behavior is evaluated along with obedience skills. Gradually as their personality shines through, they gain confidence in their surroundings and companions.
